Public Sectors
The Public Sector currently needs to address a variety of performance inhibitors: new challenges posed by Information Technologies and their improvement; shifting administrative and intergovernmental relations and changing output expectations.
Altran’s long-standing presence in the sector has enabled us to develop our competences in accordance with the Public Sector’s culture, combining the necessary knowledge of the public market’s code with the fundamentals of a successful commercial approach. The Public Sector is a client unlike any other. It distinguishes itself by specific sales procedures (that rely on Replies for Proposals for which we have set up an always more performing office) and by its own particular environment.
The European Commission is one of our principal clients in Belgium. Our consultants complete missions in Project Management, Functional Analysis and Development in domains relying on the following technologies/methodologies: Oracle, Java/J2EE, Sharepoint, .Net, Coldfusion, Documentum, UML, Prince2. Our objective is to continue developing and adapting our services to the Public Sector as a whole, with a particular focus on Belgium’s Federal, Regional and Provincial Governments, on Public-Private Institutions and on NATO.

- analysis/development on IT systems using J2EE, Oracle, Coldfusion
