Altran preparing the route for the Solar Impulse trans-American flight

Solar Impulse has taken up yet another challenge in preparation of its 2015 round-the-world flight; to cross the United States, from coast to coast, this spring. For the Altran teams, as Engineering Partner of the Solar Impulse, the opportunity of accompanying the solar plane on a fuel-free mission spanning more than 5,000km is yet another highly motivating challenge. Within the context of their mission, the teams will have to make strategic flight planning decisions to take into account the chaotic and highly diversified US landscape, with its mountain ranges, open plains, coastal areas and desert regions, as well as dealing with complex weather conditions.

Altran launches shareholder payout policy

The Board of Directors of the Altran group will submit a proposed payout of €0.09 per share for shareholders’ approval at the Annual General Meeting on 28 June 2013. This payout will be financed from funds held in the share-premium account, figuring in the Company balance sheet at end-December 2012.

Solar Impulse Across America

The names of thousands of supporters will fly Across America in the Solar Impulse airplane of Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg. The first leg will be San Francisco - Phoenix.

Q1 2013 Revenues Altran continues to grow Revenues up 7% to €397m

The Altran group reported Q1 2013 revenues of €397m, up 7% compared to Q1 2012 (€371m). This figure represents organic growth1 of 0.1% and economic growth2 of 3.5%, particularly considering IndustrieHansa, which was consolidated as of 1 February 2013.

Successful early redemption of convertible and/or exchangeable bonds Altran Technologies

On 4th April 2013, Altran Technologies announced its decision to proceed with the early redemption of bonds issued on 18th November 2009 and convertible into new shares and/or exchangeable for existing shares. There were 29,504,376 bonds outstanding at 31st March 2013.
